This is a guided nature walk/hike in Derrybawn and Glendalough - immerse yourself in nature and learn about geology, landscape, flora and fauna with a qualified mountain leader guide. The walk can be tailored to suit your abilities and interest.

Starting in the old woodlands of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, we will walk on less frequented forest trails towards Glendalough, with a bird's eye view over the lakes and valley below. We will look for, listen to and learn about nature along the way, with lots of opportunity to talk about geology, wildflowers, mosses, birds, and conservation along the way. We will pass by the famous Poulanass waterfall, and nearby Glendalough lakes. There will be lots of stops and time for photos and we will slow down to really notice nature.

This is a relaxing, slow-paced nature walk, suitable for beginners. We will be walking for about 3-4 hours. The walk can be extended to take in the summit of Derrybawn Mountain, with stunning views over Wicklow.
